“I am committed to strategic advocacy, guiding clients with clarity, and standing up for their rights.
I joined HHBG Lawyers as a Legal Researcher, and am currently an Articling Student. I completed my Juris Doctor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. Prior to law school, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual specialization in English Language and Literature from the University of British Columbia.
The experience in employment, labour, and human rights law I have gained since joining HHBG Lawyers has reignited my passion for advocacy. I have found it incredibly fulfilling to work in an area of public interest that allows me to serve those facing legal issues in a fundamental aspect of their lives: their work.
One of my goals as a legal advocate is to foster a more inclusive and accessible legal field, in which the members of the community I serve feel confident that their matters will be managed with the utmost care, consideration, and competence.
Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant and Academic Assistant alongside several law professors at the Peter A. Allard School of Law while completing my Juris Doctor. I also worked as a Student Coordinator for the Center of Feminist Legal Studies during my time in law school.
During my time in law school, I had the privilege of serving and being an advocate for the student body through the UBC Law Students’ Society, first as a 1L Academic Representative, then as Vice President Academics, and in my final year, as President. I also volunteered as a student mentor for the South Asian Law Students’ Association.
Outside of my career, I enjoy music, am an avid reader, and have begun authoring short stories. I am currently working on a novel I hope to publish. I also enjoy learning and practicing new skills like sewing, knitting, and crocheting while relaxing with classic films and television shows.
