Lia Moody
ASSOCIATE COUNSEL

"I even the playing field.

I am a passionate advocate in and out of court, committed to helping you navigate the legal terrain with expertise and empathy. My focus is you and the achievement of your best outcome – whether that is in contract negotiation, operating as a background advisor, or the pursuit of a lawsuit through to trial, I hone my approach to best further and align with your specific objectives. My goal on all matters, however, is to bridge the gap between complex legal issues and practical solutions.

I provide strategic counsel on a wide array of employment and workplace issues, but have developed my practice so as to become proficient in related sub-specialties, such as disability insurance law. Having commenced my legal career working for a large litigation firm with corporate clients, I now enjoy nothing more than using my knowledge and experience to champion and empower the individual.

I am confident in my skills, committed to excellence and always open to connecting with individuals and organizations seeking legal guidance in the realm of employment, human rights and disability law.

Outside of the workplace, I can be found outside on the North Shore trails with my two small kids, miserably cheering on my beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, reading escapist fiction and perfecting my Bolognese recipe.
