Adrienne Staley
Lawyer

"I advocate for your rights and help find resolutions to difficult workplace problems.

I practice in the areas of employment and human rights. I represent clients with respect to all aspects of the employment relationship with an emphasis on wrongful dismissals, human rights, workplace harassment, and advising on employment offers and agreements.

Prior to joining HHBG Lawyers, I had a general litigation practice with a preference for employment law.   I have extensive litigation and dispute resolution experience, successfully appearing before the BC Supreme Court, the BC Provincial Court, the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench, the Alberta Provincial Court, and various administrative tribunals including the BC Human Rights Tribunal.

I grew up in Vancouver. After completing my undergraduate degree from UBC, I volunteered with the Go Global International Service Program in Rwanda working with a women’s weaving co-operative. I then travelled to Australia to complete my law degree at Bond University. I returned to Canada to complete my articles in Alberta, and then moved back home to BC.

Outside of work I am a member of the board of directors of Freestyle BC. I enjoy skiing, biking, and camping. In my spare time I can often be found adventuring outdoors with my husband and two Shiba Inus, Luna and Nikko.
