Claire C. Lee
LAWYER

"I am here to help you better understand the problems that you may be facing in the workplace.

I provide legal advice on various aspects of employment law, including termination notice, constructive dismissal, workplace harassment, for-cause termination, restrictive covenants and human rights.

Prior to joining HHBG Lawyers, I practised at a full-service firm in Calgary.  From the beginning, I was drawn to employment law and it quickly became the focus of my practice.  I take a client-centred approach and communicate actively with my clients so they can better understand the nature of their matters and make well-informed decisions.

I am a graduate of the JD program at the University of Alberta.  In law school, I served as an Executive member for the student group, Law Students for Inclusion and Diversity, and acted as a Co-Singing Director for Law Show 2019 Production, NeverLaw – the Peter Pan Story.

Prior to law school, I obtained a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science at Western University.  Languages are another passion of mine.  During my studies at Western, I passed the highest level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test and received the Japanese Program Award for my work in the fourth level course.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time in the kitchen, cooking and baking.  I also love traveling the world with my friends and family.
